Happy Friday everyone! I cannot believe we only have 4 sleeps till Christmas! Time is flying and so are the seasons…but it you live in a warmer weather climate like Miami or LA, Winter has a different definition. You cannot really count on the racks at the stores or the latest issue of Vogue to give you proper style inspiration when they are styling large fur coats and it’s 75 degrees outside. So I decided to style a more “Spring/Summer” dress to be more appropriate for the warm climates, yet still have that Fall/Winter feel.
I styled this dress for a night out in Malibu back in November. I started by choosing a “Fall” color in my closet with a warmer hue. After that, I thought cinching a black belt at the waist would dress it up more and give it a structured appearance. I topped off the look with a deeper, moody hue of lipstick and of course, paired the dress with some ankle leather boots.

PPS: And this belt has been one of my favorite staples this season. I pair it with dresses and oversized pieces by cinching it at the waist (like I did here), and also dress it down with some jeans and a tucked in t-shirt. Belts will always be a great investment you can keep for years! I am thinking about getting the other beautiful color it comes in!
