Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I thought today would be the perfect day to share a little date night outfit inspiration with you all. To be honest, unless it’s a special occasion or an event, on most date nights I typically wear jeans, a flowy top/sweater and boots- MAYBE heels. But sometimes you just have to switch it up and give them a little surprise they weren’t expecting, especially if you are going out to dinner to celebrate Valentine’s Day! (- Whether that be tonight or another night you are celebrating, like Luke and I). A little black dress will always do the trick, and is an essential every woman should have in their closet.
When I saw this dress ON SALE at J.Crew, I thought that it was the perfect update and trendy take on the LBD (Little Black Dress). Although tulle can be extremely feminine, the stars in the fabric add an edgy detail to the style. Also, I added a black leather jacket and a red lip to toughen up the look a bit!
