OK. Overalls. When I first saw these in the Madewell store, I was a bit hesitant. Once I was actually tried them on though, I changed my mind completely ! Overalls are the most fun, unpredictable, classic and chic articles of clothing, and a definite closet staple for Miami. I don’t know if most of you have already heard, but Madewell (sister brand to J.Crew) opened up in The Village of Merrick park a couple of months ago and they are the cool New Kid on the Block. I decided it would be fun to style overalls in three different ways to show you all how versatile they can be. This look is one of three. (Two more are coming next week! Stay tuned!) The first style you see here is casual and so easy to pair with basics you already have in your closet, like a striped tee and black slip-on sneakers. I love this for a casual Friday walking around South Beach, or a lunch at the local burger shack. It’s calm, cool and classic.
