Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. On Saturday, I took my best friend Diana to the Zoo (it’s like her fave place in the whole world). What inspired this trip besides Diana’s love for animals and the Groupon? If I must be truthful, all of these adorable animals are being printed on scarves, sweaters, tees, you name it, around stores and fashion lately.
The trend started booming last Fall with celebs like Taylor Swift (aka: my girl crush), Alexa Chung, and Kate Bosworth. It died down a little in the Spring, and BOOM, now it’s everywhere again, and it doesn’t seem to be crawling out anytime soon (get it? crawling?!); making it a major trend alert for this fall. I find myself filling my closet with little printed animal motifs, and it’s starting to look like a zoo. Many designers like Kate Spade and DVF are incorporating animalia, from prints to the actual animals themselves, into their fall looks. So this gives you a perfect excuse to consider adopting a pet into your wardrobe. It’s a playful and fun look that’s a great transition from summer to fall. Here are some of my favorite animal motifs lately and pics from the weekend! PS: I also used this trend here with my zebra scarf!
Diana’s Outfit: Forever 21 Tank, MK Satchel, Nordstrom Sunglasses, Converse Shoes. My Outfit: PacSun Tank, Urban Outfitter Shorts, Converse Shoes, J.Crew Satchel, Ray Ban Sunnies.

Hi Jackie, it’s Terry Pimienta.
Just wanted to tell you that your idea of adding the Simon & Garfunkel link to your Zoo post was a great idea. I had never heard the song, but thanks to you, I just did!
May God continue to give you great success w/Dash of Panache & in all your future endeavors.
Love… Terry
