I have been so excited to finally share the pictures of the Spanish-themed bridal shower that my loved ones and mom threw me in Miami last month- complete with tapas, personalized Spanish tile place cards and TONS of florals by my wedding florist and botanical artist/magician Ever After Floral Design! Take a peek into my special day, then scroll down for some Bridal Shower articles from WeddingWire that helped both my ladies AND me to prepare and plan that special day.
location:
Bulla Gastrobar in Coral Gables
Bulla is one of my favorite restaurants for Spanish tapas and good times in Miami. There is not one time (and I’ve been there probably over 20 times) that I’ve had a bad experience with food or service…oh, and their white sangria is the best i have EVER had. Everyone always agrees with me! That day they were bottomless along with mimosas and red sangria!
As ladies walked in, they were welcomed to put a flower in their hair.
Scents are one of my favorite sensations. They always trigger memories for me, so they included one of my favorite candles Diptyque’s Baies all around the room. Now every time I smell it I think of my favorite ladies and this beautiful day. (Fun Fact: my BFF Caro took this picture! Another Fun Fact: My bridesmaids also had this scent in my hotel room at my Bachelorette Weekend!)
All the ladies received a personalized Spanish tile coaster with their names on it. (Fun Fact: My bridesmaid and BFF Becky wrote their names in calligraphy! She’s so talented.)
There were two polaroid cameras by the sign in book where the guest could take a picture and write well wishes, advice and sweet nothings.
florals:
Ever After Floral Design
Blue and white ginger jars, chinoiserie and porcelain have always been a favorite of mine! (I am actually starting a small collection from antique stores that I visit.) Ever After Floral Design absolutely blew me away by the amount of flowers and ginger jars of all different shapes and sizes that COVERED the room! My Miami home looked like a botanical garden for 2 weeks!
My friend Christie made these macarons and they are just as good as Laduree (dare I say BETTER)!
This stunning macrame background is by local Miami artisans Yerbamala Designs. They make beautiful custom pieces (I have one in my home in LA!), or you can rent one for your next event! This piece was one of my favorite aspects of the shower. (And of course Ever After Floral Design decorated it with florals.)
The party favors were little succulents and cactus with a little flag that said “Let Love Grow.”
It was my Grandma Waldi’s birthday that day too! We sang to her and got her a little cake.
And then my knight in shining armor showed up! Can’t wait to marry this man in May!

You had a beautiful bridal shower prepared for a princess. It was so nice to see your dad’s mom as I have not seen her for so many years. Many blessings and thank you for sharing.
Hello!!! Wondering where you purchased the tiles?? Thank you.
