Happy Friday everyone! I have been so excited to continue sharing more wedding details with you all. Today I am showing you the Save The Dates that I customized and picked with Minted.
If you know me, you know that I have always been obsessed with stationary and all things paper, so I was so excited to start looking through all of the different options for my Save The Dates. I wanted to make sure that they really captured my theme and the essence of my wedding without giving too much away like the actual wedding invitation. Minted was the perfect fit from the start! I loved that you can sample any of the invites or styles that you are interested in for FREE. Your samples come with an introductory sample kit that includes all the information you would need to make the next steps in your design process- everything from the different swatches of their premium paper to color customizations.
After I received my samples and introductory kit, I knew exactly which design I wanted and how I would want to customize it. Since we are getting married on a vineyard in Malibu, CA and I am leaning towards a “desert flora” garden style, I decided that the Succulent Surround design was the perfect option. The funny thing is that this design was not even intended for a Save The Date, but an actual wedding invitation. With the help of a Minted designer I tweaked it a bit, added rose gold foil to give it a little glam factor and voila! We turned the wedding invitation design into my perfect Save The Date.
** I edited these pictures a bit to take out the actual location for privacy reasons. **
Minted does a great job with giving brides so many options to customize and add anything to their stationary. I added a liner to my envelopes and a picture from our engagement shoot on the back of the card with information about our wedding website.
More great news? FREE guest addressing! Say goodbye to spending hours on writing your guests addresses on the back of envelopes, and hoping your handwriting is legible.
To add a little bit more detail and panache to our Minted Save The Dates, I decided to add a sprig of lavender to each envelope for a little scent of the venue. Scents have always been really important to Luke and I, so I thought it was a personal little detail that our guests would remember when they get to the wedding and see/smell the lavender incorporated in the decor.
I hope you all enjoyed the post! If you are getting married and are looking for luxe quality and a unique design in a Save The Date, consider Minted and their countless options from their community of independent artists.
A special thanks to Minted for partnering with me on this post!
