Part I of my Honeymoon
Hello everyone! After a poll on Instagram, I realized that you all wanted to see more pictures of my honeymoon travels this Summer. So here is a little picture diary of our first stop in Positano and the Amalfi Coast. I am also sharing a few of our favorite places to eat and visit there. Enjoy!
^ Our balcony with “spumante” at our hotel Le Sirenuse
^ Kisses on the Mediterranean Sea.
^ The view of the colorful buildings stacked on the mountains never get old.
^ I had MAJOR floor envy with all the colorful tile around Positano. I took a lot of pictures of my shoes just to catch the charm of the patterned floors. #SorryNotSorry
^ Pizza and spumante is a MUST because #Italy.
^ Views from our drive to dinner. Pretty much all the drives in Positano have a stunning view. I took this picture out the window of our car!
^ The Champagne and Oyster Bar at our hotel was one of our FAVORITE dinners we had on our honeymoon. Their drink (especially champagne cocktail) menu was spectacular and the oysters were so fresh! Pictured: My ElderFlower Champagne Cocktail. #Yum
^ The key to our room. Each hotel room has this grand mermaid keychain – Luke and I would laugh when we had to carry it around in public!
^ There really is no better way to see the Amalfi Coast than by boat! The views are absolutely breathtaking.
^ La Sponda is a world-renowned Michelin Star restaurant that was located in our hotel! This picture was taken in the morning when the space is used to serve us breakfast (one of my favorite parts of the trip), but at night the restaurant is lit up by over 400 candles in those chandeliers. (Picture below) #SoRomantic
^ If you all followed along on my IG Story, you know that my luggage was lost for about 4 days. So I had to improvise and find some linen dresses to hold me over. This one was my favorite! Fun Fact: Most of the linen shops in Positano only have one or two sizes, so I had to get this little number and cinch it with a sash I found in a market so it would fit!
^ The Amalfi Coast is very well-known for their lemons, so there are little lemon trees EVERYWHERE! I am trying to convince Luke that we now need one as a keepsake. 🙂
^ The decor of every single room and spaces of our hotel is FILLED with Italian charm, but the pool has to be one of my favorite spots. Also, I had to get a #OOTD picture of one of the linen dresses I bought there!
Day Trip To Capri
Luke and I had to take a ferry to visit Capri for at least a day. We need to go back and explore a bit more, but here is a little peek at our day there!
^ We had to take a cheesy tourist pick because we hardly had any pictures together. This was taken by some of our lovely British friends that we met and had Spritz ‘O Clock with!
^ This lady was matching the building so I thought it was a cool shot! #Fab
^ Beautiful hotel in Capri- also, can we talk about that mountain of hydrangeas? #CenterpieceGoals
^ Spritz ‘O Cock in Capri! Enough said.
^ Capri Cacti
^ Our view at dinner in Rada.
^ We would have breakfast on this terrace at our hotel every morning. SO magical!
^ This was only part of the beautiful and fresh breakfast buffet.
^ A beautiful window I found open while walking to my room one afternoon. #ItalianCharm
^ We participated in a wine tasting class all about Italian wine – Luke was obviously extremely happy.
^ Cappuccinos were consumed every morning, afternoon and night.
Hope you all enjoyed my snapshots of Positano and The Amalfi Coast! I will post more pictures about our day trips soon. The little city of Ravello is so charming, that it deserves a post on all its own!
