Playing Tourist in LA…

Although it’s not fun to get caught in tourist traps, while in Hollywood, we just couldn’t resist doing at least some of the classic touristy things like the TMZ tour, the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Chinese Theatre. Being a movie buff and aspiring actress, you can imagine how exciting this all was for me. Before our tour, Caro and I had lunch in our favorite spot to grab a bite Chado’s Tea Room. Fun fact: I’M OBSESSED WITH TEA (especially iced!). We loved this place so much that we have already been twice and tried their Mango Strawberry Iced Tea (Delish!), and Iced Coconut Vanilla Green Tea (my favorite! Like summer in a glass!).

I decided a light sweater, cut-off shorts and booties. This sweater is on super sale at Nordstrom and is so comfy (I feel like I am wearing a little lamb! It’s so fluffy and white!) The turban: ok, so I am not one to love things on my head, ESPECIALLY turbans. But, Caro, being the awesome hair and makeup pro that she is, always insists that I come out of my box. Being in LA, I went a little adventurous. I’m glad I did! I felt like a valley girl!

Last night, we went to the Taylor Swift concert, yet again, but this time in LA! It. Was. Magical. Some new friends of ours were sweet enough to take us with them! Our seats were AMAZING! Thanks Alexis and Lisette! Besides the adorable Tay Tay, we saw Ed Sheering and special guests Tegan and Sarah! Here are some pics from that. Please excuse my cheesy smile and over-excitement. PS: Yes, I did steal the confetti from the floor. Yes, it’s still in my purse. I’m sorry I’m not sorry.
