Navy Culottes

Culottes are one of those Spring trends that make you smirk and wonder how you can pull them off…

Miami’s Spring is more like what everyone else (that’s not a Miami native) thinks Summer is. The humidity is there- not horrible, but there. The temperature is rising making boating and beaching hobbies that are starting to come out into action. Nautical looks are always acceptable and on-trend here- however, the blues, whites and stripes are recently looked at as Spring must-haves, whether you live here or on the West Coast.

Culottes are always a piece that I am intimidated by because of the unique pant style that I am not used to- but I am here to tell you that with some heels (or wedges) and a silky blouse, you too can pull some off. The key for me was to tuck in the front of the shirt and leave the back loose, and wear some strappy, nude sandals to give my legs some length.
