Happy Friday everyone! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll notice I have been in full Summer mode in Miami: beach days, palm trees, tanning by the pool and lots of COLOR in my wardrobe. I thought it would be appropriate to share some of my top essentials for the Summer season!

If you know me, you know that I ADORE scents. Smell is one of the most powerful senses that can take you back to fond memories. That is why I always try to change my perfume when I want to remember a special day, like when I got married last month! (Yes, I did have a wedding scent!) So this Summer, I have been wearing Le Labo’s AnOther 13 almost every day so that I associate it with this season in my life. I love this scent because it’s extremely unique like almost all of Le Labo’s creations. It has a bit of musk blended with hints of jasmine, moss and ambrette seeds absolute- unlike anything I have smelled before.

Rose Gold or Black?
I know…so random! But I have been on a either all-black or rose gold kick lately. Black: because it’s the most classic color that you will NEVER regret buying. Rose Gold: because metallics go with everything and add a little unexpected flair from the usual silver or gold. I always pack with of these sandals on all of my weekend getaways or summer vacations and never need to worry about them clashing with any outfit, from the beach to a casual dinner.

Hydratint Pro Mineral Sunscreen SPF 36 by Alastin
THIS FACE SUNSCREEN IS THE BEST! I use this guy every. single. day. My dermatologist is the one that told me I should use this, and then Alastin reached out to me so I decided to try it, and it has changed my skin. I love this product because it’s also skincare. I have extremely sensitive skin and I use a lot of their products already so I knew this would be a perfect product to keep in my beach bag, and also use it in my everyday makeup routine. It has a bit of a tint and color to it, so it’s even nice to use when I want a very natural “no makeup” look, and if I want more coverage, I put it on under my foundation. Remember, SPF is your best friend and should be used every day- even if you don’t think you’re going to get sun!

This highly pigmented and colorful palette was a part of my Boxycharm box this June and it has been so fun to mix it in to my beauty routine for a Summer night out! I also love that this palette is inspired by the beauty and culture of Cuba. (Fun Fact: did you know that I am of Cuban descent?!)

I have been styling this round straw bag up and down all of my travel adventures, honeymoon, beach days and everywhere else in between this spring and summer! It has been my favorite staple accessory, and I have used it more than any other piece this Summer! It’s lightweight, fits almost everything, and has a white leather strap so that you can sling it cross body if you want to go hands free!
