Happy Monday! To continue the series #BackToTheBasics, this item is the most popular of the wardrobe staples: The Little Black Dress. A little item that every woman should have in their closet, yet so hard to find. But to be honest, this staple has always been one of my least favorites because of how plain it is. But I realized that the LBD is all about fit and the fabric detail. I found this dress at Madewell (now on sale!) a couple of weeks ago and snagged it even if I didn’t have an occasion to wear it to. I love that the leather stripe down the middle gives this piece a bit of an edge.
