LA Style File: “Orange” You Going to Stop and Smell The Daisies?

Happy Friday everyone! This week has flown by. I am loving LA, and between you and me, I kind of don’t want to go back home. Although LA is famous for celebrities and Hollywood glamour, it’s the little details like the long, skinny palm trees grazing street sides, sweet smelling summer breezes and the style and boldness of LA locals that gives this city its magic.

This look was inspired by the street style of LA. High waisted cut-off shorts, booties and a crop top is almost a uniform for a casual everyday LA look. Oh, and don’t forget the mirrored sunglasses and bold lips! Yesterday, after a morning hike in the Hollywood Hills, we had lunch at the best hidden secret in East LA, La Casita Mexicana, an amazing authentic Mexican restaurant! BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE! While shopping a bit on Hollywood Boulevard, we spotted the perfect little bear iPhone cases, and since the grizzly bear is a California icon, we gave in and all got matching ones (totally inspired by my friend Elle). Then we visited the famous Madame Tussauds Hollywood Wax Museum. We had a blast posing with our favorite celebrity wax figures. Above, you can see that we took a ride with ET to the moon,  and I had a major moment with George (Clooney- we are on a first-name basis).
