I’m not going to lie, when I hear the work “Keds,” the first thought that pops into my mind is a memory of when I was 5 years old, wearing overalls with a happy face shirt, in that awkward 90’s fashion stage. (No, not the trendy one that is happening right now…the REAL 90’s.) However, the people over at Keds sent me over a pair of floral Keds from the new Taylor Swift collection (I may or may not have a HUGE girl crush on her), and I decided to give them a second chance of styling for the current age. Here is the laid-back style that I came up with for a day of frolicking around the design district. The shoes are SO comfy and are perfect with a T-shirt dress and a jean jacket wrapped around the waist for a bit of an unexpected edge. Layer on some necklaces and some mirrored sunnies to match to bring the look together.
