Fall Is Here! (Yes, Even in Miami)…

HAPPY FALL! OK, so I know you “Miamians” are smirking right about now because we still have 98 degree weather, and the leaves we see on the floor are mushy and muddy as a result of a tropical rain storm. BUT, don’t be discouraged! Although we live in that confused Autumn weather (most of the stores are selling sweaters we CANNOT use), it doesn’t mean we can’t dress for the season! In the next posts I will be showing you how to dress for Fall in Miami.

Step 1: COLOR! Color is a huge factor in dressing for the fall season. As you can see here, this look is filled with Autumn neutrals. From reading one of my last posts (here), Camo is a huge trend this season (I caved and got these legging-fit jeans on SUPER sale at UO last weekend). I paired them with a wispy tank from Free People so I wouldn’t have a heat stroke. Boots are always a fall essential. Perhaps you dont want to wear high ones because of the heat? Invest in some booties (Target has affordable and adorable ones). You can pair them with just about anything for Fall (even dresses!). THE BAG. So I’ve been dying for this bag ever since I received an email from J.Crew that stated you could fit a bunny in it (or a book, wallet and a lipgloss). My mom got it for me as an early Christmas present (or should I say Halloween?). She is the bestest. <3
