This month I was so lucky to have been able to travel to Europe for a couple of weeks (check out my Munich Travel Diary here). When visiting, I was inspired by the modern European women and how they dress. I couldn’t help but notice that they are fearless with their pattern and colors, and aren’t afraid to take some serious fashion risks. There is something to be said about a confident woman whose look seems effortless. In the end, they look completely fabulous, yet they are wearing 8 different colors!
This outfit was definitely inspired by a British Vogue that I had been skimming through. The hat was actually what started the entire look. I picked up this hat months ago and tried it on for my mom as a joke. I thought, “I look like an Italian fashion girl in the 1970s whose vintage Fiat broke down in the middle of a Florence cobblestone road.” Well, I ended up buying it and wearing it all throughout my European adventure, and of course, styling it with a pair of polkadot overalls and British T-shirt here.
Fun Fact: My photographer Gabe and I found this little Italian vintage car while driving around Wynwood and we (I) immediately made an illegal U-turn to shoot some pictures with it. I specifically told him I wanted to shoot this outfit in a European-like place, (in Miami that is pretty hard to find) so we lucked out!
