I am so excited to share with you all a collaboration I put together with Toyota to test out their 2015 Corolla. As you all know by now, I am a local fashion and lifestyle blogger based in Miami, and I am constantly shooting looks and projects to share with you. Although photoshoots have their glamorous moments, most of the time I’m in the car location scouting with my photographer and friend, Roxy, having a coffee break at the wheel, touching up my makeup in the front seat, or using my backseat as a dressing room and trunk as a closet. With that being said, my car plays a huge role in my photoshoots!
Toyota asked me to test drive the new Corolla for a few days to shoot in different parts of Miami that inspire me. My style is very much motivated by where I am going to be that day. I love how Miami is unique in its culture and each nook is diverse in its own way. I am proud to call it my home!
Wynwood:
Known for its urban culture, street art and graffiti walls, Wynwood is evolved into the hottest spot for major art statements. Shop, eat, hop into an art gallery or just drive through and enjoy the walls! It’s on the list of America’s hippest neighborhoods and it’s right in our backyard.
Let’s talk about the car. I didn’t want to take it back! (Can I keep it, PLEASE?!) The pictures do not give the dashboard justice. Roxy and I could not stop playing with the radio! (When the car was on “Park,” of course!) I am a huge lover of music. A great sound system is essential when you are buying a car, in my book. Whether you are perusing through the XM satellite radio, or have your tunes playing from your phone, the touch-screen feature is a game changer (AND you can also see all the album artwork!).
Coffee lover? The Corolla has cupholders for days! ( 5 to be exact!)
I also loved the fact that I could walk in the door with a keyless entry. I felt like a queen when I just touched the handle and my door unlocked.
Coral Gables:
Coral Gables aka “The City Beautiful.” Well the weather wasn’t beautiful when we shot that day (as you can tell by the low lighting). No sunshine? No problem! I would open the sunroof and watch the raindrops fall on the glass while jamming to Coldplay.
The Design District:
The Design District is the new fashion scene of Miami. High fashion boutiques and designers are found left and right, as well as breathtaking architecture. Luxury shopping and gourmet eats are a must.
The Beach (Key Biscayne):
A towel, bikini, hat and a polaroid camera are my essentials when hanging out on the beach. This little area in Key Biscayne is a more relaxing location when you want a laid-back day at the beach. Plus there is no need for a beach umbrella when you have the trees for shade.
Ice cream cones are also mandatory.
And last, but definitely not least: the gas mileage was amazing.
Thank you to Toyota for partnering with me on this post! I had a great time riding around Miami in the 2015 Corolla.

Thank you to Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC (“Toyota”) for providing me with compensation and use of a Corolla for a period of time. All opinions that I have shared with you are my own.
