The Little White Dress: From Beverly Hills to the Hollywood Hills

Oh, how I love this little white lace dress (actually ANY little white lace dress, for that matter)! They are so versatile and can be used for so many occasions. I found this dress at Abercrombie and Fitch (I know! I would have never guessed either!) on super sale a couple of weeks ago. Fun Fact: My first job was working at Abercrombie and Fitch because they were the only ones who would hire me at 17. Anyways, this dress can be styled in so many ways.

In the first look, I kept it super simple and casual by just adding a brown pair of gladiator sandals for an All-American look. Sometimes, you just want to look effortless and feature your natural beauty, the little white dress can do just that!

The second look was for a lunch in Beverly Hills at the famous Spagos. I wanted to keep it elegant and clean, but still casual and comfy since I knew there would be some serious shopping and walking afterwords. So I threw on a jean vest, a tassel necklace , gold wedges and my RM clutch for some panache. Beverly Hills is the epitome of class, beauty, charm and elegance. I fell in love. After lunch, we went to this famous chain of LA-based boutiques called LF. Conveniently, they had their “60% off of Everything in the store” Sale! It was horrible (wonderful)! LF is the perfect place to get California/LA style-essentials. Their style is very hip, young, carefree, punk and bohemian. And they have the most unique selection of handmade/vintage shorts. If you are looking for a pair of the perfect cut-off, high-waisted, ripped-to-shreds shorts (like I was), then LF is where you are going to find them. Most of their shorts are vintage Levis that are repurposed, and have been tie-dyed, studded, blinged, or painted on.

Back to the moral of the post, white dresses are amazing (or in California terms “So Bomb”)! I think every girl should own one that flatters her body type, they are just as important as a little black dress.
