Happy Friday everyone! I’m off to my first travel adventure of 2016 and I thought I would share what I wore to the airport. I don’t know why, but picking an outfit to fly and travel in is more difficult for me to style than any other. I know it sounds weird, but think about it…you want to look stylish, be comfortable, prepared for the weather of the destination you are going to, and be ready to hit the ground running when you arrive, just in case you don’t have time to stop at the hotel to change.
I don’t know about you, but I am also very intrigued by the way people dress when they are traveling. One of my favorite sections of a magazine is where it shows how celebrities dress at the airport.
Madewell Top || Anthropologie Poncho (sold out) || J.Crew Pixie Pant || Kenneth Cole Sneakers (similar here and here) || Madewell Tote (and here) || Dior Sunglasses || Michele Watch
I found this grey button-down at Madewell almost 3 months ago, and have been eyeing it like a hawk for it to go on sale. Alas! It did. And am I glad I waited! It’s cozy, oversized, grey (the best color) and IT. HAS. POCKETS. I paired it with my leather-striped pixie pants (my favorite pants in the world. I may or may not have them in all of the colors they come in.), sneakers and a black, knitted poncho/shawl/jacket/blanket. (I’m still not sure what to call that thing, but I just know it serves as a cuddle blanket for the plane and a coat for colder days, and I scored it in the Anthropologie sale for less than $20.) And what’s an airport look without an awesome travel tote that everything (including my laptop) fits in? Oh, and it’s monogrammed, of course.
Fun Fact: My brother actually took these pictures. He’s not bad!
Get ready for February everyone! My favorite holiday is Valentine’s Day so let’s just say I will be spreading some major love to you all with some fun giveaways and collaborations I have lined up! #LoveWithPanache
With Love Always,
