Jackie Roque shares her favorite spots in Vancouver

I had the pleasure of visiting Vancouver, British Columbia a couple weeks back and had an amazing time! Today I will share with you some snapshots of my trip along with the best places to eat in the city and some fun things to do! (And also, I made a little video of some of our time there below!—Scroll down to check it out.)

Vancouver Fairmont Hotel
where to eat

We ate at some of THE BEST places in Vancouver! Here were some of my favorites.

Hawksworth Restaurant

^ This restaurant was voted best restaurant in all of Vancouver. I had probably the best Pino Noir I’ve ever had in my life, and it’s from a local British Columbia winery- Foxtrot.

Ancora

^ This place was our favorite. The cuisine is Peruvian/Japanese fusion and the cocktails are de-licious.

Miku Restaurant

^ Delicious sushi spot on the water

Cin Cin

^ Woodfire Italian Cucina

Coffee Spots

You know it wouldn’t be #PanacheTravels without visiting the best coffee spots.

49th Parallel Coffee Roasters

^ Pictured above. They give you sparkling tea with your espresso to “cleanse your palette.” #Fancy

Goodge Place

^ This place is magical. It’s actually an adorable home boutique AND little coffee shop. The coffee comes with little biscotti cookies. The Frank Sinatra playlist was a plus. (Pictured below)

Revolver

^This place was my favorite. We did a coffee tasting (this is the one in the video below). So. Good. And they take their coffee extremely seriously.

Things to do

We did everything from hiking, bike riding and the scenic drive to Whistler.

Hiking in Vancouver

^ The first hike we went on was in Pacific Spirit Park. (This is where it was raining in the video below.) It was enchanting. I felt like we were in The Lord of The Rings…Luke was waiting for an elf to pop out.
