Happy Monday everyone ! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today’s post is a little “travel diary” of my adventure in Texas last week. One of my favorite things to do in life is travel and see new places, meet new people, and try different coffee shops!
^ My view from the plane reminded me of a fluffy goose-down blanket covering the earth. This view gave me chills and reminded me of what a creative and mighty God we have.
^ These were my must-have items for the plane ride. My favorite Sugar lip balm, Caudalie facial spray, Nars creamy concealer (my new favorite!), a travel journal, Free People hat that one of my BFF’s gave me, and my blanket sweater from Anthropologie.
^ The Honeymoon Cafe had to be my absolute favorite coffee shop/brunch cafes from the trip. It’s located in Houston, and it was so nice, I had to visit twice! Their homemade pecan cinnamon granola with Greek yogurt and caramel latte were my favorite!
^ My charming view from the window seat.
^ Reflections from my latte.
^ His and mine.
^ The store-front: Talk about quaint!
^ My view wasn’t too shabby! Best seat in the house. 🙂
^ We visited the Museum of Fine Art in Houston to check out their Monet exhibit (he’s one of my favorite artists!). It. Was. Magical.
^ Could’t stop singing “Out of The Woods” by Taylor Swift and “Into the Woods” from the musical. It was quite a medley.
^ As you can tell by my outfits, it was a bit colder in Texas than it is in Miami. I got to sport my new Burberry jacket that I got for Christmas. I wore it almost every single day. It’s my favorite.
^ A tree hit by lightning, with gold on it. I had to show you.
^ Catalina Coffee in Houston is also a cool spot with killer lattes.
^ Chartreuse Vest, Chartreuse leaf.
^ View in Dallas.
^ I’m almost positive there are peonies on this floor. I couldn’t stop giggling and taking pictures. I looked ridiculous.
^ This is my handsome BF, Luke. He’s pretty dreamy right? I think so too. I had a selfie stick and we had a mini photoshoot and looked like weirdos in the middle of a park. Joggers were staring. We were laughing. But this was our best shot! No shame with the selfie stick and mini tripod.
Hope you all enjoyed my little diary! Stay tuned for some hearts, love and a little Valentine’s day fun in the next couple of weeks. It’s my favorite holiday so I kind of make a big deal about it.
