That funny time of year where the styles are changing to Fall, but it’s still warm outside. And slowly but surely you know change is coming – it’s time to transition. But how, when it’s 95 degrees in LA and Miami? The answer is…
Color and fabric. The off-the-shoulder trend is a very apparent summer trend, but I can be a great transition piece from Summer to Fall by just changing the color to a hunter green (or any other Fall color like burgundy, camel or mustard). Too warm for boots? Transition your wedges to a chunkier wooden heel and, of course, a suede fabric. You see, by changing those small details, you are ready to start your Fall transition.
Speaking of transitions, I’ve been in a huge transition myself. Not fashion-wise really, but more in my personal life. As you all know, I announced a couple of weeks ago here that I am now (in addition to Miami) living in Los Angeles. Although I have been having the most fun and am so excited for the incredible opportunities that have already opened up, life gets crazy sometimes. In saying that, I appreciate all of your love and support! Moving is hard, but I’ve learned that sometimes you need to prune some leaves in your life to grow the beautiful flowers. It may be painful at first, but completely worth it at the end. God has a plan for everything, and I sure am glad He is leading me through my journey. Sending lots of love to you on this Monday morning! Thank you for always reading.
