Happy Monday everyone! I’m so sorry that I haven’t posted in what seems like a century; I had the flu and it was not fun. But I am so glad to be back and share with all of you one of my favorite fall staples that you can use all year round and will NEVER go out of style: The Striped Sweater. Just like the song says: “The best time to wear a striped sweater…is all the time!” If you watched Spongebob Squarepants as a child, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Striped sweaters are versatile and can be styled in so many different ways. I paired this one with my favorite pants for fall: Pixies from J.Crew. They fit like leggings, but are actually made from a thicker material like pants: they are like gloves for your legs! I chose to make this look more chic than casual, so I topped it with some colorful jewels. Combat boots tones down the look a bit, and you can’t forget the red lips for some panache (I felt like Taylor Swift: stripes and red lips are totally her thing).
