Woah! Long post right?! When I think pencil skirt, I think business and boring. But this chartreuse skirt screams fun, and proves that pencil skirts aren’t killjoys; they can have a merry time too! You can use it for a polished look (work or an interview), or a more relaxed look (brunch with the girls or a night at the art gallery). For a polished look, I tucked in the top, and added a top knot and pumps. For a more relaxed look, I wore a loose fitted tee and fun printed flats with a side fishtail braid. Now, funny story about the Christian Louboutin Shoes(or as I like to call them “Loubs” or “Red-Bottom Babes”). So, my friend Elle just got these babies for graduation, and we happen to be shooting these outfits in her house. These shoes are on my dream list, so naturally I did what any fashionista would do when in the same house as the Loubs: I asked to touch them. Well, I almost fell over when she asked me to wear them for the post (literally, because they were so high, I felt like I was walking on stilts)! I was freaking out! I had never worn Loubs before! I have never felt so fabulous tripping and waddling around a street in my life. It was a remarkable five minutes, and I thank Elle to the moon and back for it. (AND she did my fab fish tail braid!) Have a fun and safe weekend everyone!
