J.Crew Sweater (In-store Sale), J.Crew Pants, J.Crew Necklace (In-Store Sale), Cambridge Satchel, Sam Edelman Sandals (old but similar here), J.Crew Arm Party, Nails: Essie “Come Here!”, Lips: Nars “Schiap.”, Michael Kors Earrings (present from one of my Besties, but similar here).
So, if you haven’t figured this out by now, I am kind of in love with florals and all things neon (especially lime/chartreuse neon). I even have the back of my door painted neon chartreuse (but that is for a completely different post)! Pops of neon are always a great way to give any neutral outfit a fun twist. Here, I couldn’t decide between lime or pink, so I incorporated them both (who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too?). Also, I just have to talk about this sweater. I know, I know, you are probably thinking “what is the big deal? It’s just a plain gray sweater.” But no. It’s no ordinary sweater. The inside of this sweater is actually made of a towel-like material. So when I wear it, I feel like I’m wrapped in a warm fluffy towel. I don’t know about you, but towels remind me of the beach or a relaxing bath (not to mention COM-FY!); and those are two happy things. Anyways, last but not least, my sandals. I scored these babies in Nordstrom Rack on super-sale a couple of years ago. I truly invested in them because I believe they are the chicest form of protection and self-defense (I mean, who wants to mess with a girl that has spikes on the back of her sandals,right?!). Just kidding guys (not really), but I really do like that they can give even floral jeans an edge.
