There are just some articles of clothing that are timeless, yet a little strange, because you aren’t use to the shape or style. These pants are one of those cases. I tried them on and immediately thought of fashion icon, Audrey Hepburn. When Caro and I were shooting this look, she thought the same exact thing. (Audrey is her life muse.) I tried these pants on at Anthropologie about a month ago and wasn’t entirely sure about them. And I think it was partially because this culture teaches us that we have to wear everything skin-tight and dress for the boys. But I actually, personally LOVED them and knew I could use them with so many pieces in my closet. SO, I cracked and invested in them. And I’m so glad I did. Even if they do have a ridiculously gigantic bow on them! Sometimes, you just have to forget about everyone else and dress for yourself. I’m sure that’s what Audrey did to become a fashion icon. If you feel good in a brown paper bag, rock it! Because at the end of the day, what you wear needs to make YOU feel beautiful and confident. Because you are! Don’t let anyone ever tell you otherwise!
