Oh, sweet Summer! I can’t believe it’s already almost over! I’ve been counting down the days and realizing that I need to get on the Summer bus before it leaves, especially since I’ve spent most of it in Miami- the Summer paradise- doing not so Summer-y things. Mine hasn’t really been filled with beaches, sun and sand- more like learning how to walk normal again, binging Game of Thrones and missing my handsome fiancé.
I don’t want to be a downer, and this is in no way meant for people to feel sorry for me- I actually had an amazing Summer with my family and friends! It’s just funny how life doesn’t always go how to plan. I had foot surgery about a month ago and am SO thankful I’m almost 100% healed and it was nothing serious. I’m happy to report that I am now wearing flats and sandals- definitely an upgrade from sneakers only! Thank you all for your beautiful messages and prayers! I want to always be authentic with you all and not only share the lovely moments, but also everything else in between. I feel like sometimes social media makes us think that we have to live in this fantasy world, and it can be quite deceptive. So this is it! My real life, right now! And this outfit makes me miss Malibu. I shot this with the beautiful Jessica Sheppard in Malibu a few months ago and never shared it with you all. I can’t wait to go back to my life in LaLaLand very soon – I miss the mountains, tall palm trees and cooler nights.
