Trying to figure out Valentine’s Day plans? Breakfast in bed is always a fun idea- and cute and comfy PJ’s are a must, not to mention a great Valentine’s Day gift for your love.
Eberjey is one of my all-time favorite brands for comfy, chic intimates and Pajamas. Their cozy, laid-back style with neutral colors is timeless. And did you know that they are actually based locally in Miami? They have 2 storefronts : Miami Beach and South Miami. That’s why I am so excited to partner with them for my giveaway series #LoveWithPanache to give one of my lucky readers a chance to win this lovely PJ set I have one! Stay tuned on my Instagram for the giveaway instructions.
This Plume of Love PJ set is too cute for words- but can we talk about this romantic, flowy robe? I personally believe every girl should own a beautiful robe they can hold on to for years.
Happy Monday and happy first day of February! As you all may know, Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday because it revolves around love. I know many women (and men) give this holiday a bad wrap because they may be single. But I’ve always loved it (single or not) because it celebrates the action of love and loving others. So this month I will be doing a special giveaway series with some of my favorite brands called #LoveWithPanache to show my love and appreciation to you all for your on-going support. So to kick off this series, I am so excited to collaborate with one of my best girls, Kristin Brophy from Fancy Things Blog, to bring to you a special giveaway with Olyve Flowers– and show you 4 ways to style them. (Remember last year’s Valentine’s collaboration #DashOfFancy ? Check it out here!
Olyve is a floral gifting service that delivers handcrafted designer flowers right to the person you love’s door! As you will see, these bouquets are absolutely stunning and they travel in style.
Whether you receive bouquets or not, us girls buy ourselves flowers from time to time (and if you don’t, you should OR you can enter to win one of these…keep reading). I seem to place my vase of flowers in the same place all the time- the middle of the dining table. Although that’s not a bad decision, sometimes it’s fun to mix it up a little. Kristin and I came up with 4 ways to style a bouquet of flowers in your home.
1. On a Bar Cart
2. As a Centerpiece for a Gal-entine’s Day Party
Each bouquet comes with delicious artisan chocolates and a personalized message.
Want to win a Olyve bouquet to giveaway to your “Galentine,” BFF or for yourself? Follow Kristin and I on Instagram ( @JustJackiee and @FancyThingsBlog ) and wait for us to post the instructions to enter! Good luck!
Special thanks to Olyve for partnering with us on this post (oh, and for the gorgeous flowers!).
Happy Friday everyone! I’m off to my first travel adventure of 2016 and I thought I would share what I wore to the airport. I don’t know why, but picking an outfit to fly and travel in is more difficult for me to style than any other. I know it sounds weird, but think about it…you want to look stylish, be comfortable, prepared for the weather of the destination you are going to, and be ready to hit the ground running when you arrive, just in case you don’t have time to stop at the hotel to change.
I don’t know about you, but I am also very intrigued by the way people dress when they are traveling. One of my favorite sections of a magazine is where it shows how celebrities dress at the airport.
I found this grey button-down at Madewell almost 3 months ago, and have been eyeing it like a hawk for it to go on sale. Alas! It did. And am I glad I waited! It’s cozy, oversized, grey (the best color) and IT. HAS. POCKETS. I paired it with my leather-striped pixie pants (my favorite pants in the world. I may or may not have them in all of the colors they come in.), sneakers and a black, knitted poncho/shawl/jacket/blanket. (I’m still not sure what to call that thing, but I just know it serves as a cuddle blanket for the plane and a coat for colder days, and I scored it in the Anthropologie sale for less than $20.) And what’s an airport look without an awesome travel tote that everything (including my laptop) fits in? Oh, and it’s monogrammed, of course.
Fun Fact: My brother actually took these pictures. He’s not bad!
Get ready for February everyone! My favorite holiday is Valentine’s Day so let’s just say I will be spreading some major love to you all with some fun giveaways and collaborations I have lined up! #LoveWithPanache
The last essential in the #BackToTheBasics series: The Utility Jacket. I don’t even remember how long I’ve had this jacket for, but I can tell you that I use it year after year and it’s still timeless.
#BackToTheBasics: The Grey Vest. Let’s be honest, winters in Miami are non-existent. Layering always seems like a foreign concept when it comes to dressing for our 80 degree days. However, this grey vest was a game changer! I could wear a short sleeve shirt or tank top and not feel like I was going to pass out from the heat. Hence, why I think that a vest is definitely a closet staple. Although this vest comes in other colors (like this hunter green hue), grey is my favorite neutral because it goes with just about any color and can be styled in every season. Plus, this Topshop one is ON SALE for 50% off.
I hope you all are enjoying my series #BackToTheBasics! January is a month for renewal and a fresh start, but the month is almost coming to a close and so is this series. The last look will be up next week! Stay tuned!
